Objective

Responsible for the performance and management of all sales activities in the assigned market, territory or vertical. Strives towards the achievement of revenue goals while upholding VMTurbo’s core values, customer offering and company vision. Creates a territory plan with measurable goals and objectives and works to meet or exceed those goals quarterly. Sales Associates will be spending time creating demand, training on products, business and sales-skills while ramping up and establishing a clear competence around all aspects of the business.  Sales Associates will also work directly with our partners and alliances to improve the overall quality of the VMTurbo experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures that the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Key Performance Metrics are achieved for example; number of out-bound territory calls, lead follow-ups, customer installs, prospect demos, appointments set, net new opportunities added.
  • Generates reports and reviews them with management  in order to develop the necessary skills for business management and sales achievement.  Reports include measurement of the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, programs, call activity, accreditation scores, webcast demos, trade shows and overall pipeline management.
  • Continuous development in the messaging of industry trends, product & solution sets, and qualification skills with a focus on business, technical and operational best practices.
  • Uses lead tracking tools to forecast sales activity on a weekly basis. Categorizes leads according to the probability of a sales and works with management to define next steps in order to ensure real-time accurate and effective forecasting practices.
  • Works with sales support team to provide customer quotes, proposals, order forms, and relevant product information. Is in constant communication with customers to ensure the timeliness of critical success factors through the installation and testing process
  • Becomes proficient in VMTurbo’s sales methodology and qualification process.  Determines customer pain points, needs analysis, solution fits and effectively learns the skill of delivering an ROI/TCO analysis for higher probability close rates.
  • Demonstrates a passion for building relationships with customers and helping them meet their business objectives which leads to working more independently, closing more deals and accelerating more sales campaigns hence, improved time to revenue.

Training & Development

  • Responsible for ongoing self-development in addition to our corporate based training curriculum.  The general areas of development will revolve around industry trends, technology landscape, sales skills, business acumen and operational efficiency.
  • Is available for weekly scheduled 1:1 time with management for coaching sessions, role-plays and various workshops all geared at building a career path and the necessary performance skills for sale effectiveness.
  • Develops and presents a Quarterly Business Plan to management that reviews strategy, key metrics, areas of improvement and business results.

Leadership

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and ensures that ethics and conduct are exemplified in the workplace daily.
  • Is a positive influence on those around them and prides themselves on character, commitment and passion for their trade.
  • Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to customers, prospects and company employees.

Sales Engineer

VMTurbo is a rapidly growing company in a very dynamic market space.

We are looking for a very special individual to play a key role in the success of this company.

The successful applicant will be responsible for working with our prospects in a pre-sales environment to better understand and realize the value of VMTurbo’s product offerings in managing complex virtualized infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will have actual hands-on experience and active firsthand knowledge of virtualization technologies and products:

  • VMware suite of products is a must, familiarity with SAN, system and network management is a plus;
  • Having a VCP certification is a very big plus.
  • The successful candidate will be a member of a top notch engineering and sales team developing a suite of unique and innovative solutions that is revolutionizing the traditional management space.

In the day to day performance of this role, the candidate will work closely with inside sales and interact with prospects to interactively discover the nature of their challenges and needs and be able through conversation and live demonstration of our solutions, position the benefits of the VMTurbo value proposition. Here experienced in other pre-sales roles will be invaluable.
