[Webinar Recording] What's New in the October Appliance?

Our October release is a major step forward for enterprises and cloud service providers looking to guarantee application performance for their business units and customers.  The release features dozens of enhancements and new capabilities, including:

  • New business dashboards provide visibility across all layers of the IT stack, and recommend resolutions of the issues impacting application performance in the shared infrastructure;
  • To better manage virtualized workloads in large environments, infrastructure operations teams can now group and prioritize applications in order to assure QoS for mission critical workloads;
  • To help hosting and cloud providers better manage and support customers in shared, multi-tenant environments, the new release features more customizable workload placement policies, flexible management of roles and permissions, and rebranding support for MSPs who private-label VMTurbo as part of their overall IT offering.

Here is a recording of the live webinar where we demonstrated the new functionality:

How do you upgrade an appliance to a later version?
Posted @ Tuesday, November 08, 2011 1:57 PM by Joshua
Joshua - great question! We here at VMTurbo are constantly adding functionality and improving the end user experience. Because of that, we quite often release updates between major releases. There is a short description in the product documentation, but i though instead to point you to this write up by an industry blogger. :)
